Recently I was flipping through the channels on my TV looking for something interesting to watch when I came across someone explaining to someone about Christmas. She made the comment: “Oh yeah, and we celebrate a baby who was born 2,000 years ago”, she said it with a laugh and in such a way as you could tell it did not make sense to her.
This got me to thinking about how people look at that baby whose birth we celebrate. There are many who probably hear the Christmas carols and have no idea what they mean. To them perhaps it is like singing a song about some one they know simply as a historical figure. To many, Jesus as the Song of God is not real to them. Continue reading →
This morning I led worship at Zion Covenant in Chambersburg, PA. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to lead there the first Sunday of the month on a pretty regular basis for some time now.
